Search for approved courses

Searching for approved courses

Once you've decided on your field of study, you will be able to narrow down your list of courses and providers. The level and type of Commonwealth assistance you can get when you study a particular course might be an important consideration for you. To access Commonwealth assistance (either a Commonwealth supported place or a HELP loan to pay for your study) you need to study an eligible course at an eligible provider or university. Please see the Providers that offer Commonwealth assistance page for further information.

You can also use the tertiary admissions centre (TAC) in your state or territory to search for higher education courses. More information about TACs can be found on the enrolling in a course page.

VET FEE-HELP approved courses

The VFH Course Search is a helpful database to search for courses that are approved for VET FEE-HELP. It will also help you to identify which state or territory the course is delivered in. As the database is based on information supplied by VET providers, the accuracy of information should be confirmed with individual providers before making any decisions. Please note this database only contains courses that are approved for VET FEE-HELP. It does not contain information from registered training organisations (RTOs) or other VET providers that are not approved to offer VET FEE-HELP loans, and also does not contain any information relating to higher education courses.
